The Shadow Wall is a massive and persistent magical barrier erected by the Darklord Skeleus to enclose his conquered domains and provide cover for his advancing forces. Rising several hundred feet and stretching many hundreds of miles, the wall is formed of roiling dark clouds shot through with swirls of purple and green energy and exerts a strong inhibition against entering or passing. Areas enclosed by the wall become grey and withered, with sunlight diminished as if by smoke.
The wall currently stretches from the Gulf of Hedrin across the eastern portion of the Plain of Srevi, cuts through southern Malboria, and encloses Pendrama and the former land of Kor. The wall's potency varies from place to place, strongest near the Darklord's front lines but weaker and thinner farther back.
