The Darkwoods (known to some as the Blackwoods) is a dense expanse of forest that smothers the western half of the Province of Baronia in the Kingdom of Evenhold. The provincial capital of Baronia lies along the forest's northeastern fringe, and the Tovesi River winds through it from the north.
