Anharos (36 BA–49 YA), sometimes called Anharos the Pure, was the last ruler of Aevinn and the first monarch of the united Kingdom of Evenhold which he was instrumental in establishing. He is revered throughout Addar for his leadership during the Great Battle of Darkness, his triumph over the forces of evil, and his pious dedication.

Born into the ruling house of the Kingdom of Aevinn, Anharos early on became a committed disciple of Alaxar and fully dedicated himself to the god's worship and service, becoming the youngest acolyte ever to achieve the golden orarion in the Temple of Alaxar. He acceded to the throne in 12 BA at the age of 24 and immediately led a bold and successful campaign against the demonic cults and practitioners of dark magic in the kingdom's periphery. In recognition of his devotion, Alaxar sent his herald Agamon to gift Anharos the Diamond of Purity, a gem that conferred supernatural power to strike down evil or undead beings.

When the final Ruin unexpectedly began in early 1 BA, Anharos rallied the surrounding realms into a grand alliance and established the elite Knights Adamant with whom he shared the powers of the Diamond. Riding against the enemy hordes, they slaughtered incalculable numbers of evil beings, ultimately prompting the Great Old Ones themselves to erupt in fury from their ancient haunts and advance against the alliance. Anharos used his favor with the gods to appeal for their aid and intervention, and the pantheon answered. As Anharos led the alliance of mortals against the remaining monsters and undead legions, Alaxar, Terza, Brynne, and Weyren directly engaged Xor'urr and the other eldritch gods on the Plain of Sarkarm in a battle that shattered the very land itself. The old gods fled or were destroyed and the Cycle of Ruin was ended forever.

In the wake of their victory, the allied lands formally united as the Kingdom of Evenhold with Anharos as their first monarch, and adopted a new calendar. Anharos ruled until his death in 49 YA and was succeeded by his son Enaren. Per his wishes, the temple priests mummified his body and entombed him along with the Diamond of Purity in the necropolis of Carthianum.
