The Pyramid of Anharos is the final resting place of King Anharos (36 BA–49 YA), uniter of Evenhold and anointed one of Alaxar.

The structure, a massive stone pyramid containing numerous chambers and passages, was probably built around 3,000 BA by the inhabitants of what became known as the land of Carthianum. It was used for many centuries both as a temple and necropolis for the local rulers and aristocracy who lived in the city that grew up around it, later the capital of Carthianum, and was the site of regular entombments and religious ceremonies until the forces of the Great Old Ones swept through the land in 1 BA, killing almost the entire population.

Following the Great Battle of Darkness, the goddess Terza claimed the depopulated lands as her personal domain and under her influence the landscape began to transition into desert. Anharos visited the ruined capital and pyramid in 4 YA and announced his wish that upon his death he be entombed within the domain of Terza. The priests of Alaxar began refurbishing the temple and in 49 YA entombed the king's mummified body inside along with the god-given Diamond of Purity.

The pyramid is now the only remaining visible structure left from the civilization that once inhabited the region and stands surrounded by a vast sea of shifting sand dunes.
