Nostrum is one of the oldest orc civilizations in all of Addar and is the largest predominantly orcish nation east of the Great Mountains. Unlike the many small, petty kingdoms of squabbling orc warlords that line its borders, Nostrum is organized and disciplined, and leans on its traditions and long history to help knit its diverse citizenry into a productive whole.
Most of the orcs of Nostrum live in vast networks of caverns and tunnels that twist through the mountains in the north and west, while a smaller number live in surface settlements among the hills of the southeast.
