The Fahrnor Montains (🔊) are an isolated massif near the western border of the Kingdom of Evenhold named for the nearby city of Fahrnor. The ancient stronghold of Kahr-Dur stands on its southern slopes, while caverns and tunnels — both natural and man-made — snake beneath the mountains. A wide depression in the eastern half of the massif contains the hidden Tangledoom Forest, a dark and forbidding woodland haunted by malevolent creatures.
