Lying east of the Shadow Mountains, the Dead Forest is an inhospitable swathe of dark and tangled woodland that stretches northeast from Behlos City along the salty Dreamless Sea. A few small temples and overgrown shrines lie within the forest, and druids sometimes commune among the trees, but otherwise the region is largely uninhabited. Travelers warn that malicious tree spirits haunt the woods.
