The Crownwood is a forest roughly 15 miles east-to-west and 20 miles north-to-south that covers much of the northern peninsula of the Island of Apple in the Western Isles. At the heart of the Crownwood lies a wide clearing within which stands the ancient keep of Castle Malus.
