Nestled in the bluffs and low hills of the Malphigian coast lies Crowther Woods, an ancient old-growth forest that spreads across the shallow hills and valleys near the towns of Dodge and Mudville.
The emerald plover, a rare species of wading bird, is found only in the small stretch of coast that borders the woods.
