The Golden Empire of Calphante (🔊) is a warrior theocracy and one of the most powerful nations in the Northern Reaches. It controls most of the wide highland pass between the Great Mountains and the Aevinn Range, as well as broad region of forested hills to the north, and borders the lands of Nival to the west, Rhyl to the southwest, and Negavia to the south.
The southernmost portion of Calphante is dominated by the perilous Enchanted Woods.
