Arising in the hills around the eastern city of Hawkhaven, the scenic Zyphur River wends its way generally westward through the Aevinn region of the Kingdom of Evenhold, arcs around the forest of Cynwood, then flows south past Dunderhaven and the capital before reaching the Malphigian Sea west of Dodge. The short Volber River feeds into the Zyphur south of Nellzon.
Waterfalls and rocky shoals and outcroppings in its last few miles prevent the Zyphur from being navigable from the sea, but inland stretches from Dunderhaven northward are safe to travel by boat.
