The brightest portion of the Silvern River that arcs across the skies of Eamon goes by various names in different cultures: the Whirlpool, the Golden Heart, the Eternal Fountain. In the zodiac of central Addar it's widely known as the Wellspring and is the first of the twelve zodiacal signs, normally beginning each year on 27 Storms (day 72) and ending on 11 Waters (day 102). Its symbol (🜾) represents the gushing waters of a spring or fountain.
In ancient traditions the Wellspring was more often known as the Maelstrom or the Doom-light due to its association with the Cycle of Ruin.
The Wellspring is preceded by the Dragon and followed by the Pilgrim.
