You were having a real blast at the Main Hall last Friday. It was the annual Adventurer Day bash. Just as the mage, Hokas-Tokas, said "Bottoms up!" in the grand toast, someone yanked you outside.
It was a short skinny dwarf with a black beard and a name tag which read "Sledgehammer". He said to you, "The evil tyrant Mr. Roessler has built a small outpost in northern Eamon. It is believed to be nothing more than a small hideout, but who knows exactly the power he has in his grasp. Your goal is to stop Roessler (pronounced race-ler) by destroying his fortress. Mr. Roessler himself is immortal and cannot be defeated by physical means. (Still some adventures left in the old goat.)"
The dwarf takes you on the north road to the Really-Big-and-Scary Forest, where Roessler's outpost is suspected to be. He takes you within sight of a small shack and leaves you there as he heads back for the Main Hall. The last thing he said to you is, "good luck".
