One of the southernmost mountain ranges on the continent of Addar, the Sax Mountains border the predominantly human lands of Excamia, Norsax, and Saxavania. They're also the home of the Southern Troll Kingdom, a reclusive troll culture that lives partially in the deep tunnels and caverns that run through the roots of the mountains.
