The Plane of Eä is a material plane that closely parallels the Prime Material Plane, with laws and cosmology very similar to it. The Eamon-like world of Arda is within the plane, which is near enough to the Prime for rifts to form that connect the two.
The Plane of Eä is ruled and shaped by the creator deity Eru Ilúvatar, possessor of the Flame Imperishable.
