Phrax, major deity of the plane of earth, is the god of the underworld, commonly symbolized as an old man in a burial shroud or as a black willow tree. He is the "shepherd of the flocks of the dead" and those who've suffered the loss of a loved one often worship him or leave tributes at his shrines.
Other gods are said to shun Phrax for his dour and gloomy personality, but he takes no interest in their affairs or the affairs of mortals. The Phracian Fields, a burial garden on the east side of the city Evenhold, is named for Phrax.
