This mysterious 50-meter-tall obelisk stands alone on the plains east of the Jarlschlager Range, its origin, purpose, and creators long forgotten. Ancient histories suggest the object was already present during the years of the Old Empires and it may be vastly older. The passing millennia seemingly cause no wear to the stone or the indecipherable carvings on its surface.

Legends claim that the apparently solid surface of the obelisk will on rare occasions become a permeable portal that leads to another world.
