Dominating the western third of Island of Apple, the Mountains of Mem are a rugged and sparsely populated region, inhabited only by scattered hermits and bandits. The higher northern portion of the range is known as the High Mems and is prowled by dragons, while the lower peaks to the south are called the Low Mems and descend gradually into the grassy foothills of the south.
