A jagged and sunless peak in the eastern Mountains of Anguish, Mount Errek is the point on Eamon's surface that comes closest to the vast, levitating slab of land known as the Floating Island, rising to within just a few hundred feet of its rocky underside. Above the peak, enormous chains dangling from a hollow in the island's base serve as the only means of reaching the island short of flight or magic. Caverns are said to run from the hollow up through the island to its surface.
Errek stands in near perpetual darkness, receiving only rare, brief glimmers of light at sunset, and though cold is kept snow-free by the looming island above it.
