Lanst (🔊) was an ancient civilization of north-central Addar that arose around 4800 BA in the wake of the Seventh Ruin. Along with its partner Ervuol, it flourished and spread for millennia and played a critical role in overcoming the Eighth Ruin in 2704 BA. It later entered a catastrophic war with Ervuol that led to both empires' destruction in 1410 BA. Some small remnants of the population retreated underground to live in caverns.
Lanst had no single official language, but the most widely spoken was Valconni.
