The Great Bight is a roughly circular sea that lies to the east of the Island of Apple, thought to have been formed many millions of years ago by a massive meteor impact. Roughly 70 miles wide, it forms a rounded bay bordered on the west by the island's curved eastern shore.
At the center of the bight lies Wizard's Island, a rocky and mysterious isle that's been only rarely glimpsed due to a violent storm that perpetually surrounds it.
The largest settlement along the Bight is the port of Asquay.
