Evron was a ruler of the Kingdom of Evenhold and the first of the five great Wizard-Kings.

Born to a wealthy family in 373, Evron showed great aptitude for magic even as a child and studied under the sorcerers at the Dark Spire. He gained a seat on the Council of Twelve in 422 and despite being a junior member quickly became one of its most influential voices. When the council fell apart in 448, Evron helped avoid a second civil war by restoring the authority of the monarchy and taking on the role of king. Some accounts suggest that Evron secretly drove the council to ruin in order to seize power, though official histories do not corroborate this.

Evron died on the throne in 472 at the age of 99 and was succeeded by Abarin.
