Elebron

The Duchy of Elebron is a self-governing enclave in the Kingdom of Evenhold, situated below the Shadow Mountains on the shores of the Dreamless Sea. In the ninth century King Molinar of Evenhold granted the powerful House of Elric broad authority over the duchy, both in recognition of their military service to the crown and as a means to assuage the ambitious family's hunger to rule.

Over the following centuries the duchy and its capital city of Behlos grew and prospered, as did the ruling family's aspirations for ever greater power and influence. In recent generations the family has embraced sorcery as a means of further heightening their strength and control. Elebron's current monarch King Raulos, an arrogant and combative man, is an extremely adept practitioner of magic who used his abilities to resist an attempt by local druids to depose him in the 1150s.
