The Eighth Ruin was the eighth occurrence of the Cycle of Ruin, beginning in early 2704 BA. Before the rising hordes of evil and undead beings could overrun the world, members of the Talus Assembly succeeded in returning the stirring Great Old Ones back into a state of slumber, prematurely ending the Ruin and sparing Eamon from widespread destruction.
