The peoples of Addar, fearing the return of the Ruin, dedicate themselves to what historians call the "Great Castellation" or "Dread Castellation", a decades-long period of fortress construction and alliance-building. Thousands of castles, keeps, towers, and walls are erected all across the continent.
Though anxious, the people draw reassurance from the favor of the new gods.
