The province of Carrum (🔊) is the westernmost territory in the Kingdom of Evenhold and shares a border with the friendly neighboring lands of Trillium and the New Kingdom. Continuously inhabited for many millennia, much of the territory was once part of the nation of Carumbar, a vassal state of the ancient Ervuolian Empire that survived its dissolution and later become part of the united Evenhold. Carrum's largest city is Fahrnor, a bustling and propserous metropolis situated along the Tofra River.
Carrum's governor of many years is Lady Phina, Marchioness of Winderett, a stern but gracious woman deeply committed to preserving the peace and prosperity her province enjoys. Rumors suggest she's also sympathetic to the growing anti-magic movements in the region and may be privately encouraging their spread.
As with most of the Kingdom of Evenhold, Carrum's inhabitants are predominantly human, though many other races are to be found mingling in the streets of Fahrnor or in smaller surrounding settlements.
