The blighted and water-logged Arcosian Swamp lies on the border of the Kingdom of Evenhold near the Far Riding, filling most the wide, flat basin between the Horn, Shadow, and Voormithadreth mountain ranges. The Arcos River meanders through it from the north, draining its foul waters south into the Dreamless Sea.
Rumors of ancient, nightmarish monsters prowling the swamps have circulated for centuries and few people ever venture into its depths.
