The Alaxaran pantheon is a group of connected and loosely-aligned elemental deities worshipped in the Kingdom of Evenhold and many surrounding lands. Stronger than any since the Creator Deities who first shaped the world, they entered Eamon in 487 BA following centuries of imprecations by the Aspirants of Lumen and were instrumental in vanquishing the Great Old Ones and ending the Cycle of Ruin.
The core members of the pantheon are:
- Alaxar, mightiest of the group, god of the sun, major deity of the plane of fire. Aligned to lawful good.
- Terza, daughter of Alaxar, goddess of pain and sacrifice, major deity of the plane of fire. Aligned to lawful neutral.
- Weyren, god of the sea, major deity of the plane of water. Aligned to chaotic neutral. Brother of Brynne.
- Brynne, goddess of wisdom, knowledge, and judgment and major deity of the plane of air. Aligned to lawful good. Sister of Weyren.
A fifth god, Agamon, acted as Alaxar's herald, but was killed during the Great Battle of Darkness in 1 BA. A number of minor deities fill the pantheon's court, serving the leading gods as ministers with varied portfolios. Some also consider the elemental deities Minden, Phrax, and Mlat to be part of the pantheon, but their histories and alignments differ from the others and they do not move in the same circles as the Alaxaran gods.
