Alaxar, major deity of the plane of fire, is considered the mightiest and foremost god of what's often called the Alaxaran Pantheon, and his worship is the state religion of the Kingdom of Evenhold. The largest temple in the city of Evenhold is dedicated to him.

Alaxar's existence was first revealed to the peoples of Eamon in 487 BA when he and his court answered the pleas of the Aspirants of Lumen by sending the herald Agamon to proclaim Alaxar's favor toward the world. The Kingdom of Aevinn and other surrounding lands quickly embraced the new deities.

When the Great Old Ones emerged in 1 BA, Anharos, king of Aevinn and a devout worshipper, appealed to Alaxar and his court to intercede on Eamon's behalf, and the gods agreed. Alaxar and his daughter Terza, goddess of purification, turned their full might against the eldritch deities, forever annihilating them from the Material Plane.

Alaxar is commonly symbolized as the Sun or as a soaring hawk. He is rumored to consort with Brynne, goddess of wisdom and sister of Weyren.

A species of tropical orchid, Alaxar's Kiss, is named for the god due to the fiery coloration of its flowers.
