The Yag were a race of semi-humanoid aliens who in the deep past lived on a far-distant planet of the same name. When the world of Yag succumbed to a great war, a group of peaceful dissidents fled the conflict, traversing the stars until they came to the world of Eamon where they landed and became stranded.
The exiles made new lives for themselves, existing peacefully in the primeval lands for millennia as they witnessed the gradual rise of Eamon's intelligent civilizations. Though extremely long-lived, the Yag finally died one by one until only a single member of their group remained. This being is known to have been alive through the age of the Old Empires and scattered accounts suggest it may have still lived in recent centuries, but its fate is unknown.
Yag had bodies that resembled humans (though with green skin), but their heads more closely resembled those of elephants, with large ears, tusks, and a trunk.
