Named for the water god Weyren, patron deity of sailors and fishermen, Weyren's Belt is a volcanic island archipelago whose sweeping, 150-mile-long arc defines the western edge of the Malphigian Sea. Most of the belt's volcanoes are inactive, but several in the northernmost islands are prone to frequent eruptions.
