The Voormithadreth Mountains are the northern portion of a longer range of jagged peaks and deep valleys that continues south as the Shadow Mountains. The Voormithadreth range lies just beyond the northern borders of the Kingdom of Evenhold and rings the western edge of the great Arcosian Swamp.
The mountains have an evil reputation and are rumored to be the home of ghosts, demons, or even more malevolent entities.
