Vaelion, known to human astrologers as Vaelion the Seneschal, is the third world orbiting Great Eldur and the outward neighbor of Eamon. A terrestrial world slightly smaller than Eamon, Vaelion is habitable but cold, with massive ice caps covering its high latitudes and a band of open ocean around its equator. According to ancient accounts, rifts once connected Eamon to Vaelion, and societies of humans and possibly other races lived along its rugged equatorial coasts, but no connections to the world have been reported for centuries.
Sky-watchers have long characterized Vaelion as the seneschal (or chief steward) of the Domains of Eldur, so its symbol (⚿) is a key surrounded by a square.
