Tarnmark, one of several minor kingdoms in the Pocket Lands, sits in the heavily forested western foothills of the Grimlor Mountains and is ruled by the benevolent King Ragnar from a castle just east of the small city of Tillamore. Its citizens tend to be skilled in animal husbandry and weaving, and the textiles they produce are prized throughout the region for their high quality and often intricate woven patterns.
Posing a threat to the kingdom's peace is a dragon who migrated with a handful of others from the Great Mountains to new lairs in the Grimlor peaks, likely drawn by the many sheep, lamas, and other livestock pastured in the lands below. Though most have been successfully dispatched by bands of brave hunters, the largest still roosts on Ula Tor and while so far it's only seized wild animals or livestock the kingdom fears the danger it poses to the people.
Settlements in Tarnmark include Tillamore, Huthrimar, and Vilskogen.
