The ancient boundary between the domains of humans and trolls runs through Skrimshire Forest, a woodland covering the foothills and southern slopes of the Aevinn Range in central Addar.
The southern portion of the woodland lies within Skrimshire, a border province of the Kingdom of Evenhold, while the forest's northern arms reach up through long mountain valleys into the lands of the reclusive Northern Troll Kingdom. Per the truce reached after the Human-Troll Wars three thousand years ago, humans are not permitted to enter troll territory and vice versa.
