The Sayhar Reckoning is the dating system used throughout the New Kingdom and surrounding areas on the continent of Northland. It counts years from the establishment of the city of Sayhar, the first significant human colony on the continent.
Per the reckoning, Sayhar was founded in 1 SR, became a city-state in 600 SR, and united with surrounding states to form the New Kingdom in 835 SR. The present is 1020 SR, equivalent to the year 1200 in the Years of Anharos.
