The Kingdom of Rinillion (🔊) is a small and predominantly human nation on Evenhold's southern border, just outside the province of Trowmarch. Its territory includes the southern portion of Skyglass Lake, the northwestern spur of the Wyvern Mountains, and the coastal plains between Evenhold and Dorier, all governed from the capital city of Iravaan.
Considered the oldest extant kingdom in central Addar, Rinillion arose in the centuries following the Sixth Ruin in 7300 BA and can trace its existence back almost 8,500 years. Much of its history is intertwined with that of the drow (dark elves) who lived for millennia in the Wyvern Mountains. Whether through wisdom, strength, or good fortune, the nation weathered the Seventh Ruin, the fall of the Old Empires, and the Great Battle of Darkness, and today thrives as a quiet and prosperous land rich in ancient traditions.
