The Regnal Years of the Kingdom of Evenhold, also called Kingdom Years or Kings' Years, is a dating system that bases the count of years on the reigns of monarchs. Under this system the current year — 1200 YA — would be expressed as the twenty-first year of the forty-third kingdom, since King Thorvald (the forty-third monarch) acceded to the throne in 1180 YA.
