The oreigan is a species of bird that once lived in central Addar, described in legends as the pets of the gods. The birds had bright blue and orange plumage and were believed to bring good luck.
The last known colonies of oreigans lived near Heryn in the land of Rhyl before becoming extinct in the early sixth century.
