Oigres is a dilapidated village in the Far Riding near the kingdom's borders with the Barbarian Lands, surrounded by a crumbling brick-and-mortar wall. Its central square is the site of a busy bazaar filled with street vendors, while nearby shops sell rum, cheese, and assorted other provisions and supplies. The town's main tavern is the Drunken Widow.
The local portreeve (mayor), a wealthy drunkard who styles himself "Prince" Thoth, holds court in the town hall north of the square.
