Molinar was the last and greatest of the Wizard-Kings to sit on the throne of the Kingdom of Evenhold, ruling and protecting the land for a total of 282 years through the seventh, eighth, and ninth centuries.

Little is known about Molinar's early life, but scholars agree he was probably born around the year 400 and was apprenticed as a child to one or more skilled sorcerers. He later traveled widely, both across Eamon and through portals to other worlds and planes, sharpening his already keen aptitude for magic.

Molinar assumed the kingship of Evenhold from Joras in 610 and reigned for nearly three centuries, preserving the kingdom through several wars and crises. Though his magical abilities made him practically immortal, he ultimately grew weary of his role and in 892 relinquished the throne, retired to his hidden tomb, and entered a death-like sleep.
