The Islands of the Fey are an ancient formation on the edge of the Sea of Death in the Western Isles, raised and shaped in prehistory by profoundly powerful magic to serve some long-forgotten purpose. The formation consists of a 70-mile-wide outer ring surrounding a seven-pointed star, with each point rising to a sharp, high peak. The passage of untold millennia has worn the islands, with portions of the formation now broken and lying beneath the waves.
The few explorers who've seen the isles report that they're uninhabited, but the fey beings of Eamon are familiar with it and treat it as a place of special significance.
