Garregan's Rock is the name of a small coastal island near the northern shore of the Bay of Lindom about seven miles southwest of Southport. Separated from the mainland by a strait so narrow it can be crossed by a wooden bridge, the island has a single structure, an ancient stone tower known as Garregan's Light that used to serve as a lighthouse and coastal observation point. It was abandoned around 1120 YA after a newer lighthouse was erected on Wether Rock farther to the southwest.
The abandoned Garregan Castle is on the mainland nearby, standing atop a cliff overlooking the bay.
