The Fraternitas Albiclaviana (the Brothers of the White Key) is an ancient and secret order on Earth that exists to safeguard the Londinium Rift. Formed around 800 CE, its earliest members were human Eamonites who had emigrated to Earth but felt a responsibility to guard the portal back to their ancestral home. Their descendants continued the tradition, helping keep the rift concealed from public view but always accessible to trustworthy Eamonites and Terrans.
Today the Albiclavians number about a dozen individuals (both men and women, despite the antique name) who quitely carry out their duties with the knowledge and backing of the British crown. Members of the order always staff the gift shop that fronts the entrance to the rift and are happy to provide discrete guidance and assistance to those making the crossing.
