Elmendor is an elven compound and settlement situated on a forested ridge in the Dark Forest of Evenshire, a site that acts as an unofficial embassy between the predominantly human Kingdom of Evenhold and the elf lands beyond the Great Mountains. Officials and dignitaries of both peoples often meet there to share news, craft alliances, and enjoy the hospitality of Heartwood Hall.
Led by an elven woman named Lyrith of Kelydd and her human consort Burchard, the elves of Elmendor dedicate themselves both to preserving and disseminating elven wisdom and to sharing the unique talents of their people with friendly outsiders. Whether partaking in combat training and agility exercises or enjoying performances of music and drama, Elmendor has become a popular attraction for members of the Adventurers Guild who often refer to it as "Elven Wonderland".
