Eamon (🔊) is a terrestrial world that hosts a wild diversity of plant and animal life and is home to numerous intelligent races and cultures. It's also suffused in varied forms of magic which some of its inhabitants have learned to harness.
Eamon and three smaller worlds orbit a yellow-white star named Great Eldur which Eamonites usually refer to as "the Sun". A small, golden companion star named Little Eldur distantly orbits the system. The stars lie near the crowded heart of the Silvern River, so Eamon's night sky is a spectacular sight, densely strewn with nearby stars and alive with vast, colorful nebulae. Scholars have charted the heavens in great detail and have an accurate understanding of the movements of the heavenly bodies around Eldur, though little is known about other worlds. Eamon is orbited by three moons and a handful of small asteroids.
Much of Eamon's surface is covered by great seas which surround seven known continents including Addar, home of the Kingdom of Evenhold and the Guild of Free Adventurers. Others include the sprawling tropical continent of Ja'gala; the diminutive Northland; the cold and mysterious Tyrna; and the distant and little-known lands of Veldith, Karune, and Orashta.
