The Council of Mages is an august assembly whose membership includes many of the foremost magical practitioners in all of Addar. The wizards, witches, sorcerers, and sorceresses of the council meet regularly to consider any matters that relate to magic, from urgent dangers and unusual phenomena to codes of conduct, regulation, and safety.

The body formed following the ancient Pact of Tuduska which canonized many of the principles, norms, and strictures of magical practice that have since become the standard for mages across much of Eamon. Officially called the Senosium of Tuduska or the Tuduskan Order, people now tend to refer to it rather inaccurately as "the Wizards Council". It doesn't operate under the auspices of any king or government but lends aid and insight whenever needed. Some organizations are subordinate to the council, notably including the Guild of Magicians and most reputable schools of sorcery.

Famous past members include the Wizard-Kings of Evenhold. Leading figures in the modern era include Xandar and Trezore. Though elder members carry more authority than more junior ones, the council has no single leader and decides matters by consensus. The council chooses a different meeting place for each gathering.
