Byakhees are hideous winged predators thought to have accompanied the Great Old Ones to Eamon some 400,000 years ago. Roughly the size of an adult human and at least semi-intelligent, byakhees hideously combine aspects of bats, birds, and insects. They're capable of flying safely through the vacuum of space without protection and are remarkably resistant to physical damage.
All the byakees on Eamon were summoned to fight in the Great Battle of Darkness and nearly all were either destroyed or forced to flee the world.
