Seat of the Duchy of Elebron and ancestral home of the powerful House of Elric, Behlos City rivals Evenhold as one of the greatest cities in central Addar.
Its center is the intersection of the King's Road, which passes all the way through Behlos City from the west gate to the east gate, and Main Street, which runs from the city's south gate north to the Great Hall of King Raulos. The wide central square is dominated by a great fountain and pool and filled with the noisy bustle of merchants, entertainers, and busy townsfolk.
The city's western blocks near Elm Street are the most affluent, with upscale shops and lavish homes, while the northeastern quarter around Battleforge Lane is the most decrepit and home to the city's poorest residents. Temples and other religious institutions are mostly grouped near the south gates, while busy smelters, forges, and crafting shops operate in the southeast quarter along Cedar Lane.
Given Elebron's status as a neutral party in the simmering conflict between Evenhold and Sicilia, Behlos City is ideally situated to host meetings between the two nations; Sicilian dignitaries arriving across the Dreamless Sea by ship are known to meet with their Evenholder counterparts at the city's Great Hall.
