Baronia is a province in the far northwestern reaches of the Kingdom of Evenhold that borders the land of Rhyl, roughly nine days' travel from Evenhold. The eastern half of the province is mostly open, fertile land dotted with farms, orchards, and animal pastures, while the western half is shrouded by the ancient and mysterious forest known as the Darkwoods. The province's principal city, also named Baronia, stands on the edge of the forest.
The Burgomaster of Baronia (equivalent to the governor in other provinces) is Ordan Holger.
